About Book

"Nanofabrication is the most sophisticated manufacturing technique available today. Due to the fact that this technology enables scientists to approach the theoretical limit of precision, i.e. the size of a molecule or atom, it is often referred to as ""extreme technology."" Indeed, it is fundamentally the manipulation of matter at the nanoscale that enables the development of a range of materials and technologies that outperform those created via traditional procedures in terms of performance, efficiency, and durability. This nanoscale manipulation modifies the material properties without impairing the substrate's basic qualities, resulting in materials that are fundamentally distinct and much superior than their bulk equivalents. Additionally, it satisfies both of the manufacturing industry's primary requirements, namely ultraprecision and miniaturisation; hence, this technology serves as a pathway to manufacturing excellence.

A comprehensive resource for this rapidly growing multidisciplinary topic, this book gives practical guidance for arranging the experiments associated with any project that makes use of nanofabrication methods. It lays the groundwork for readers to explore the complicated realm of nanofabrication and motivates the scientific community to push the boundaries of nanoscale resolution. It is a valuable compilation of topics, ranging from the basic to the most complex theories and principles in the field of nanofabrication. It deals with nanofabrication of metal oxide patterns, molecular scale devices, nanostructures in aqueous solutions and characterization of plasmonic structures. It also focuses on evaluation of nanometer cutting tools and nanofabrication of particle assemblies. While understanding the long-term perspectives of the topics, the book makes an effort in highlighting their impact as a modern tool for the growth of the discipline. Through this book, we attempt to further enlighten the readers about the new concepts in this field.
