About Book

"Climate change is already having a negative impact on health in a variety of ways, including increased death and illness as a result of increasingly frequent extreme weather events such as heatwaves, storms, and flooding, disruption of food systems, an increase in zoonoses and food-, water-, and vector-borne diseases, and mental health issues. Additional concerns include the health consequences of drought and wildfires, as well as respiratory disorders caused by poor air quality. Health consequences connected with loss of livelihoods, resource disputes, and migration are also a cause of worry. With increased knowledge, it is expected that anticipated burdens in other areas (for example, mental health) may grow as well. Climate change is eroding many of the social determinants of health, including livelihoods, equality, and access to health care and social support systems. Climate-related health hazards disproportionately affect the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people, including women, children, ethnic minorities, poor communities, migrants or displaced persons, elderly populations, and those with pre-existing health disorders. While there is no doubt that climate change has an effect on human health, it remains difficult to correctly evaluate the magnitude and impact of several climate-related health hazards. However, scientific advancements enable us to increasingly ascribe an increase in illness and death to human-induced warming and to assess the risks and magnitude of these health hazards more precisely.

This book is a vital tool for all researching or studying the field of climate change & health impact as it gives incredible insights into emerging trends and concepts related to it. It summarizes scientific data in a concise and accessible fashion, providing executive summaries and key takeaways. It deals with health impacts of noise pollution, methodology to assess air pollution impact on human health, bioindicators of the environment pollution for human health, structural control and health. It also explores environment for human and environmental health, analysis and health impact, climate parameter variability and observed trends  in climate change. From theories to research to practical applications, case studies related to all contemporary topics of relevance to this field have been included in this book. It is a vital tool for students of public health, medicine, nursing, and pharmacy. It is an invaluable resource for anyone with an interest in the intersection of climate change and human health.
